WASHINGTON - Sarah Palin says the Obama administration must tell Americans what it knows about who will be Egypt's next leader.

In a Christian Broadcasting Network interview released Saturday, the 2008 vice presidential candidate says the administration should level with the American people on what it knows about the Egyptian crisis.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak wants to rule until September elections.

Palin said the U.S. must find out who is "behind all the turmoil" and that "we should not stand" for a government led by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Referencing a 2008 campaign ad, Palin said Egypt was the White House's "3 a.m. phone call" but it "went right to the answering machine."

She says the U.S. must say whom it stands with, "and we do not have all that information yet."

In America's celebrity culture, Sarah Palin is the political sensation of the moment. She panders to the Christian extremists and white supremacists. Of course, if the Muslim Brotherhood rise to the top in Egypt, blaming Obama would be cheap politics. It would simply be a result of the long reign of the clout of right wingers in US foreign policy making. Yet, even in conservative circles of the US, I still see Sarah Palin as just a clown. Apart from making "popular" rhetoric, she has not yet exhibited strategic thinking (however twisted) that goes with real leadership.

For the people who are following the US politics, elite groups approve Obama's Administration for handling complicated national and international issues. Leading Republican members appreciate the man in white house. The Egypt revolt is one of the test Obama has faced since sworn in the Office. All Americans of different ideology agree the way Mr. President is handling the fracas, bear in mind that US has interest in Egypt as a key player in mideast politics. She owns the gate (Suez Canal) for America to access the volatile region.

Ironically the comment from Miss Palin gives credit to Obama. Sara has been disowned by his party as a person who sends mixed signal to the public which reflects Republican stands. The KOL in Washington have ruled out Miss Palin as a potential contender for 2012 election.
The Democrat would like Sarah to challenge Obama in 2012 since they believe in landslide victory if that happen.

The notion that Muslim brotherhood will rule the country is another misconception by majority. The propaganda against the organization was orchestrated by Mubarak to safeguard his interested. This was echoed by the US and western media for simply what is known as Islam phobia.
The Brotherhood never enjoyed support in Egypt. They enjoy 20% of popular support in 80 million nation.
There is no connection between Brotherhood and Alqaeda, in fact Alqaeda hate Brotherhood for their swift stance on issues of Mideast. The defected Ayam al Zawhir has written a book to strongly criticize the Brotherhood organization that leans in diplomatic way rather than Violent means.
The members of brotherhood are well educated and they may not want to be at the focus for the time being. It is unlikely you will see them in political forum for the next 6-12 months.
All the Influential politicians and reporters who know the region from Europe and US have downplayed the role of Brotherhood in Egypt. Simply the call it Islam phobia, in turn the fear promotes the Alqaeda agenda.
