The tone of this offer, calm and confident, is so casual it could be about bringing on workers for a plumbing job. What is actually under discussion: $1-million for the hiring of contract killers to assassinate two of Rwandan President Paul Kagame's most hated enemies.

It is 2011, and the speaker is Colonel Dan Munyuza, Rwanda's director of military intelligence and a trusted ally of the Rwandan president. The man on the other end of the line is Robert Higiro, a former Rwandan army major living in exile.

Another piece of baseless hearsay propaganda. Pres Kagame is a straight talker, he does not hide behind fancy rhetoric. Had he ordered to eliminate Kayumba or Karegeya, he would have said so openly. 1. kagame a "straight talker"? really? i beg to differ, everyone remembers how a real straight talker called KIKWETE alipompa za uso kagame bila kuficha chochote mbele ya hadhira ya kimataifa, only for kagame the coward to reply via a youtube video in which he was pounding his chest infront of rwandese kids eti "i will hit him blah blah blah...", does that sound like a straight talker to you?

2. " genocidaire-sponsored news print": so tell me where do genocidaires get money to sponsor articles like these? aren't they supposed to be hiding somewhere in kivu villages? or are there other "genocidaires" that we don't know about?

A simple google search at the time of writing this reply using keyword "Geoffrey York" gives NOTHING about Rwanda, while that of " judi rever" gives mostly results of other people like me discussing her work! except her youtube videos like these, which nobody can say are fake..anyway i don't know anybody that writes negative things about kagame who is not "FDLR, genocidaire, RNC, Hutu..." in your eyes!
