Of course he knows better than attempting to annex Alaska, that cannot happen unless he wants a bloody nose. The reverse is true also for the US.

To make things worse, if you have being following Russia's $20bn arms renewal project, you would be very worried at the announcement of the the com cement of the manufacturing of the next generation of S400.

I wonder why you say F-22 is a failed project yet there are over 170 planes in service compared to none ( only a prototype) in the Russian equivalent. US patriot is enough to deal with troublesome fighter jets. It dealt with missile so planes will be a piece of cake. Yes the S 400 may be something to watch, but there are other compensating strengths and advantages on the other side too. What is more, aside from the F-35 lightning II the likes of the F-18 super hornets and the F-15 strike eagle are still potent enough to cause sufficient damage. Last time i checked the closest Russian equivalents to these fighter planes didn't posses a clear advantage.

F-22 or any other stealth plane have no chance vs advanced modern radars that see through stealth, S-400 will detect it even easier at ranges far beyond the F-22 weapons and radar range. [/INDENT]
