AS | Verratti emerges as Real's top transfer targe as they want to reinforce the midfield after injuries but PSG aren't keen on selling.

- Any deal to bring Verratti to Madrid will not be easy to strike. He renewed last year and got a €2.5 pay rise.

- In France there are no release clauses in contracts so only if Verratti wants to leave then Real will have any chance to sign him.

- According to GdS Real offered PSG €40m for Verratti last summer + €20m salary over 4 seasons, but the offer was rebuffed.
