Los Blancos have just published their latest medical report on the 30-year-old French striker who limped off with a hamstring injury after Saturday's match against Alaves

"Following tests carried out today on our player Karim Benzema by the Real Madrid Sanitas medical team, he has been diagnosed with an injury to his right hamstring. His recovery will continue to be assessed."

Benzema could be sidelined for two to three weeks and his involvement in El Clasico is questionable. If he doesn't get well by Barca match, his place will be taken up by Mariano Diaz, Los Blancos' reserve striker.
