I realize this is a political forum, but here is an essay I've written that is mostly philosophy. While I don't claim to have societal solutions, I believe I have solutions for the individual. It's very long and has taken me years to write. It was an essay initially but it's basically become a book at this point. And I plan to add more to it. I am American but I've always had a fascination for East Africa and I would like to visit someday. There are some things in the essay you might not understand and it deals with American culture. You may ask yourself, well what does any of this have to do with East Africa? I think everyone can benefit, regardless of where you are from. And I've noticed some topics here deal with spirituality so I figured this was the best place. Just click the link below.

Here is a TLDR for the essay:

Causing suffering and death on other conscious beings makes you grow old and die. Refrain from causing suffering and death and you can make yourself immortal. And just to clarify, I do mean actual physical immortality.

In general, I believe that in this context, it is also worthwhile to conduct discussions about the absence or manifestation of free will in a person. I recently wrote a long essay on this topic and along the way I had difficulty with AMA Citation. I am very lucky that in the modern world there is a citation generator edubirdie.com/citation/ama/ The AMA Citation Generator is a great help for those who are afraid of citing the sources themselves, but in order for its help to be 100% effective , you should explore some basic stylistic features on your own.

very interesting essay. very deep thoughts that respond within me. In general, I believe that in this context, it is also worthwhile to conduct discussions about the absence or manifestation of free will in a person.

Suffering or evil is not a positive thing, is just an absence of good. This is according to St Augustine and Boethius.
The big question who is responsible for evil or suffering in the world?
