Alas my Nairobian brothers and sisters Kidero has already been re-elected even before the August polls.

Mwanasiasa Peter Kenneth amesema Gavana Kidero amefeli katika utendakazi wake, huku akisistiza kwmaba Seneta Mike Sonko vilevile amechangia kutoendelea kwa kaunti hii. Akizungumza na wanahabari wakati wa kutangaza kujiuzulu kuwa mwanachama wa Jubilee, Kenneth amesema atawania wadhifa wa Ugavana Nairobi akiwa mgombea huru.

Aidha, Kenneth amesikitishwa na jinsi uteuzi wa chama hicho ulivyoendeshwa jijini Nairibi, na kusisistiza kwamba kulikuwapo na wizi wa kura. Aidha ameeleza imani kwamba ataibuka mshindi wakati wa uchaguzi mkuu wa Agosti 8.

Ikumbukwe Kenneth alishindwa na Mike Mbuzi Sonko katika uteuzi wa Chama cha Jubilee baada ya Sonko kupata kura elfu mia moja thelathini na nane, mia moja themanini na tano huku Kenneth akipata kura elfu sitini na mbili, mia tano na nne.

I support neither Kidero nor Sonko for the nairobi gubernatorial seat. I was really hoping that Kenneth would win the Jubilee nomination, but alas!
Judging by the nature of the Kenyan politics, he stands a slimmer chance to win, the candidates enjoying the backing of the major parties have greater chances of winning. But still, I am hopeful.

sijui kama ni wasifu as such but ukiangalia kwa opinion polls ya wapiga kura hapo awali utapata kuwa Kidero alikua anaongoza kwa asilimia 35%, Sonko 22% na Peter Kenneth 20%.
Kidero yuko chama cha NASA ilhali Sonko na Kenneth wako chama kimoja cha Jubilee.
Strategically hapa ilikuwa ni hawa wawili wa Jubilee waungane (22 + 20 = 42) dhidi ya huyu mmoja wa NASA = 35.
Kila mmoja akienda njia panda, wanampa Kidero kazi rahisi sana kwani watagawanya kura zao.

Me too..Kidero is incompetent and corrupt while Sonko is not 'respectable' at all...Kenneth would have done a great job. But now, I think Kidero is coming back..plz God help us..this guy has not done anything for this city...

Haya hongera bwana Kidero umepata ugavana saa nne asubuhi, una fursa ya kuendelea kuitafuna Nairobi kwa miaka mitano mingine.
 
I wont lie that i fancy Sonko but no amount of sideshows will distract me from the fact that Kidero needs to go, i aint stupid on who stands the best chance of unseating him

Apart from his utotos and shenanigans, I imagine Sonko fighting for the "masufferers". That would mean hawkers kwa streets, matatus (remember that famous Sonko vs CCN case?) katikati ya city, many of which he owns; not to mention the drama and scandals at the city hall almost daily.

Kenneth is the guy best suited for the role. He has a very inpressive track record.

There was a conference of Kenya Association of Independent Candidates in Nairobi! I don't like the idea of these independent candidates, it should be removed from the constitution.

yaani NASA wamenyakua miji mikuu Kenya nzima...hata nashangaa how they are in opposition...Mombasa ni yao, Nairobi and Kisumu too
