There is this thinking in Kenya that a certain man is the "people" and he is the "constitution". That when he boycotts an election, it must be repeated. That when he misses a seat, the constitution must be amended. That when he is not on the throne, the people have been excluded.
LISTEN good. The only bottom line inclusively in Kenya is sharing of resources. That has been very well taken care of by devolution. Every county gets its share of resources as a matter of law. Every county has its elected leaders who administer resources in accordance to the constitution and the law.
ANYONE who thinks we should be setting up offices for every crying baby, is mistaken. Assuming we have president, deputy, PM and deputies. Then I too decide to make the country ungovernable, which post will you create for me?
We have a free constitution that allows people to pick seats like bets. If you want the Senate seat you go for it. If you miss it you go home and wait. Period.
