I understand that China is blamed by the US for its deliberate practice of lowering its currency so that it earns more in exportation. So if the weakness of Chinese currency against USD is of such an advantage, why does it appear to be a disaster in our case? I thought that a crippled shilling against USD would mean to surge our exportation capacity but this has not been the case.
