The National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) has today announced the closure of massive ID registration and renewal exercise.
The exercise that began on may 27,2025 at parish level saw 14.3million people renewing/updating there IDs failing short of 15.8million target.
“10 million IDs have been printed with 2.5 million already collected from district offices” Ms ollama Claire NIRA Registrar Said
She also added on that Diaspora ID issuance is underway in Dubai,UAE from Monday to Wednesday.
