Government has organised nationwide prayers ahead of the inauguration of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni scheduled for May 12, 2026.
The Permanent Secretary in the Office of the President, Haji Yunus Kakande, said the prayers will take place from May 8 to May 10 across the country, bringing together leaders and citizens in what officials describe as a moment of reflection and unity.
Kakande noted that all government officials are expected to participate in the prayer activities, underscoring their significance in the lead up to the national event.
The inauguration is set for May 12.
