Position: Note Counter III (Currency Department)-26 Posts
Reports to: Head of Division
Contract type: Contract for specified period of time
Location: Head Office, Dar es Salaam
Job Purpose: To count, sort and identify counterfeit notes and coins.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
a) Counting and sorting clean and dirty bank notes and coins by use of Automated Currency Processing Machine or manually and reporting shorts and overs;
b) Checking validity of suspected counterfeit notes;
c) Punching unserviceable notes for destruction and packing coins in packets for cashiers use;
d) Performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor from time to time;
Essential Requirements:
 Certificate of Secondary Education Examination with passes in two subjects;
 High personal integrity and trustworthiness;
 Good numerical skills;
 Good communication skills;
 Attention to details;
 Good team player.
