Reports indicate that Director of Immigration Jane Waikenda has collapsed after being arrested by Anti-corruption police over irregular issuance of work permits. She has been rushed to Kenyatta hospital. Waikenda has been working as the administrative secretary Kenya Police Service and before was the deputy secretary Kenya prisons when President Uhuru appointed her to immigration in June.
