In secondary school, we learned about different types of pollution, including air, water, and land pollution.
However, in today’s world, another dangerous form is increasingly emerging: mind pollution.
It may be even more dangerous because it contaminates people’s thoughts, values, beliefs, and judgement, often with consequences far more destructive than those of environmental pollution.
Environmental pollution may cause suffering gradually, but mind pollution can disrupt almost every aspect of human life.
It can destroy families, corrupt politics, distort religious values, undermine education, and even lead to sudden loss of life.
Its greatest danger lies in its ability to poison human judgement, influence behaviour, and turn people against one another.
