Marando got votes from CHADEMA, NCCR-M and few CCM MPs. CUF voted for a CCM candidate

What is going on here that it is taking so long to understand our contemporary political context? We all know that CCM and CUF have decided to work together, who said this was going to apply only in Zanzaibar? So long as CUF feel part of the status quo, it will be fool hardy to expect them to work in unison with CHADEMA. We should get used to the fact that we only have one main opposition party in the parliament-CHADEMA. Expecting CUF to behave otherwise this time in point is cheating ourselves. So the question here is not about CUF/CHADEMA differences, it is the question of the principles and objectives of the two parties. Kwanza nawapongeza kwa kazi nzito mnayoifanya najua siku moja Mungu atajibu maombi ya wengi.
Pili kuhusu ushirikiano wa CUF na Chadema mmefanya uamuzi wa busara, baada ya CUF kujiainisha wazi that they are not on your side they are with them then what is the use of muungano.

Principally huwezi kuungana na mtu kiwiliwili wakati roho yake haiko pamoja, waswahili husema kuvuja kwa pakacha nafuu ya mchukuzi, mnajuaje huko mbeleni labda ni mipango ya Mungu wangekuja kuwasumbua na kuhatarisha hata nguvu ya ndani ya chama.

Ila napenda kusema yafuatayo:
1. Wengi tunajua uchaguzi ulikuwa rigged na Chadema imeyapinga matokeo hadharani it is high time for Chadema to show your people that you meant it NO is NO, time to show your consistency, you have to come with a valid arguments as to why you are doing that otherwise people might not trust you in future.

2. Tumeona wabunge tayari wameshaapa well Chadema can cooperate with bunge but when comes to presidency activities show that you still have doubt on how he was elected. You can show this by boycotting his first public speech next week or by not attending any of his ceremonies, though that won't change anything but will make a significant note to him and his government.
