Man admits to molesting a camel

A man was arraigned in a Marsabit Court of Law for committing a beastly act. The man aged 19 was arraigned in Court for engaging in an indecent act with his master's camel in Thogo Gichi area ,Dirib Gombo area Location Marsabit County.

While appearing before Marsabit Court Principle Magistrate Boaz Ombewa, the accused pleaded guilty for committing the offense.

Magistrate Ombewa has ordered that the accussed be taken through mental examination in order to ascertain whether he was insane as he purported.

"The accused has to undergo a mental examination to ascertain his mental status, “said magistrate Ombewa.

The court was told an absurd tale how the accused who works as a herdsman was caught red-handed in the act at 12:00am in his master's homestead in Thogo Gichi area.

The prosecution relayed a story to the court that the accused has been suspected to have incessantly committed the act until his master finally found him in the act.

The prosecution also explained that according to the cultural standards and practices of the locals of Marsabit County, such an animal has to be slaughtered for being unclean.

The prosecution added that the accused admitted having committed the heinous act when interrogated by the police but pleaded to be forgiven claiming that he was insane.
