ASA Microfinance (Tanzania) Limited, incorporated under the Companies Act 2002 (No. 93819) of Tanzania and an affiliate of ASA International (ASA International), one of the largest microfinance companies in the world is going to launch its operations in Tanzania. Presently the company is going to open some branches in Dar es Salaam and its surroundings. We are inviting qualified people to be part of our operations team for the following position. Position: Loan Officer
Job Responsibilities:
-To build and maintain a substantial and high quality loan portfolio. To conduct members recruitment and screening. To form 20-25 members female groups, conduct regular meeting with the members. To orient clients to the particular loan products and services. To process loan applications and verify clients income generating activities (IGA). To manage loan disbursements, monitor & collect loan repayments. To provide quality and good customer service to clients.
Academic Qualification & Additional Requirements
-Minimum Advanced Diploma and higher degree will be added advantage.
-Must know MS Office Package.
- Willingness to work in field level. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and to demonstrate good negotiation skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Age not more than 35 years.
-The applicants have experience in any financial institutions/Microfinance Sectors should be given preference.
Probation period & Salary Range:
Monthly Salary Tsh 300,000/- will be fixed for 06 months probation period. Successful completion of the probationary period s/he will be permanent employee under organizations regular pay scale of respective grade.
Job Location: Dar es Salaam and its surrounding areas.
