The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has announced the launch of a new Instant Fines Traffic Management System, aimed at making traffic enforcement smoother, fairer, and more transparent for motorists.

With this system, any traffic violation will trigger an automatic SMS notification sent directly to the driver, eliminating the need for human intervention and reducing potential disputes or delays.

Motorists will have seven days to pay their fines through any KCB Group branch. If the fine isn’t settled within that period, it will start accumulating interest, and the affected driver or vehicle will be blocked from accessing NTSA services until payment is made.

NTSA is encouraging all road users to follow traffic rules and take any official notifications seriously. The authority promises to share more information through official government platforms as the system is rolled out nationwide.
