Ukiangalia siyo hela nyingi sana, iweje nchi ya Kenya ikashindwa kujenga Reli ya km 400 kwa fedha yake yenyewe badala ya kuchukuwa mkopo wenye masharti ktk kwa Wachina?

Binafsi siamini kama nchi ya Kenya ingeshindwa kupata hiyo fedha ndani ya Kenya kama wangeamua, sasa logic ya wao kukopa foreign country ni ipi?
 
Hakuna busness nzuri kama ambayo unafanya bila mtaji, we angalia feasibility ya biashara kama unahakika itakulipa na unakopesheka kakope then faida ya biashara ndo ulipe mkopo wako. ndivo biashara zoote kubwa zilivo na ndivo matajiri woote wanavofanya kazi.

The same for government also, nilishangaa JPM alivoacha mkopo wa wachina. hizi hela za 300Km tungekuwa tumefungua viwanda vingapa kama nchi? ajira kiasi gani zingezalishwa? na hiyo reli+ndege zake zingekuwa zishapata wasafiri na mizigo ya kusafirisha pia.
 
This is not the only project for Kenya.
We endelea kukwamilia apo wakati projects nyingi zinaendelea ili kufikia malengo yake ya Vision 2030.

Serikali ya Kenya imejenga viwanda vingapi kwa mtaji huo?
 
Kwa hiyo ulitaka watumie cash wakati wananchi wao wana matatizo ya njaa na ukosefu wa huduma bora, Kenya akili kubwa sio kama sisi tunakimbilia kununua vipangaboi kwa cash wakati wananchi tuna matatizo lukuki

There are hundreds if not thousands of projects of all sizes in Kenya. From schools, hospitals, roads, dams, energy, water etc. We self-fund the ones we want and borrow for some.

Mkijenga hio reli na pesa yenu, jua kwamba kuna projects zingine zitasimamishwa kwanza.

Little do you know that the whole airline industry is moving away from owning to leasing. 40% of all aircraft in the world is leased. Up from 15% twenty years ago.

Whether as an individual or as a government, you will never go far without loans or external money.
If you commit a lot of your money on a single project, many other things will come to a stand still.

Aliyetuambia reli haiwezi lipa mkopo ni nani, na pia sio kila mkopo huwa tunategemea kulipa kwa kutumia muundo mbinu wenyewe, maana unafaa uelewe kwamba kuna mafao zaidi ya 1,000 kutoka kwa hii reli ukiondoa nauli na ada ya usafirishaji wa mizigo.
Hivi sasa Wakenya wanajenga majengo na kuanzisha shughuli nyingi sana kwenye miji iliyopo kwenye hii reli na vitongoji vyake.

ni term ndogo tu ya opportunity cost kwa mfano sisi tutakaojenga kwa pesa yetu yawezekana tukakutwa na tatizo la kutoweza kuendesha shughuli za kila siku yaani za kiserikali na kimaendeleo lakini kwa wakati huo hatutohitajika kulipa riba wala kushurutishwa na masharti kama tungelikopeshwa...

Hayo madeni mingine ya miundombinu yalilimbikizwa vipi? Hakuna sababu ya kukopa kama mnaweza kufanya mradi kwa pesa zenu, tena ndio vizuri zaidi.

Ukweli ni kwamba, miradi mingi ya miundombinu Afrika hailipi madeni kutokana na siasa. Ili miradi hii iweze kujiendesha yenyewe ni lazima tozo za kutumia ziwe kubwa tofauti na ilivyo sasa. Matokeo yake ndio maana unaona hata utunzaji wa miradi hiyo ni wa hali ya chini.
