Kenya has 37 million internet users(2nd after Nigeria in Africa) .

This is too ironic, it doesn't really makes sense. As of this year (2017) kenya's population is 47 mil people, and out of that 41% is comprised of children under age of 14. Note that 70% of all kenyans live in rural areas like Turkana and Loitoktok where people are dying of hunger and malnutrition. 47% of kenya's children are stunted and underweight.

How on earth do Kenya have 37 mil internet users.

Behind every Afr political leader there are capitalists and opportunists with private agenda, and esp Kenya where all leaders are rotten.

jambo la pipeline sio kwasababu ya bidii yenu....it was cheaper to construct via tz and also security concerns....it just made more sense to pass through tz....on the issue of SGR Mlipata Rwanda yes ila Uganda ni yetu....it makes more sense since Kampala is nearer Mombasa than Dar....now lemme explain why waswahili are lazy idiots....Tanzania has better natural resources than all East African countries combined...rainfall, wildlife, coastline (larger than Kenya's), natural gas, diamond (the mineral, not the broken-English speaking idiot), Lake Victoria (largest in TZ, very small portion in Kenya), larger population, etc...Tanzania is bordered by more landlocked countries than kenya which means more business but still Kenya ndio kusema when it comes to serving landlocked neighbors.... kenya is mostly desert....the only fertile land we have is is used well....we have insecurity issues while TZ there is a little peace...all these advantages but still Tanzania remains one of the poorest and most backward countries in the whole world...kenya is a middle income nation with those little resources...why? hardwork....both our GDP and per capita is larger (double) urs....Our port is larger...our airport is larger....Our city is way better....internet, literacy, infrastructure, modernity, ingenuity....frankly, kenya is ahead of TZ in all aspects except those natural resources I've mentioned above... anyw, endeleeni na huo uvivu inatupa manufaa kibao...The 25 poorest countries in the world hapa mnawakilisha vilivyo

RURAL AREAS like Turkana? Unafaa kujua the population ya those places. And in Kemya you can get a very cheap phone with GPRS network. Other rural areas ziko in places like central kenya, western, riftvalley, the southern side where kuna high population compared to Turkana and stuff. Here people can afford a smartphone, some laptops etc. And electricity connectivity iko high

So if 41% are under 14, that leaves 56% if you ignore the 3% above 65 Years That's around 28 Million

Yes, a majority of Kenyans live in rural areas but not in places like turkana or Loitoktok... Semi desert areas like those are usually very sparsely populated have like an average of 25 people per square kilometer..... Majority of Kenyans live on the south of Kenya where the weather/temperature/environment is less forgiving

But the most important thing you forget is that they are not measuring people with computers or mobile phones...... they are measuring people with access to internet.... and mostly they do so by measuring individual IP addresses of computing devices that can access the internet... Someone might have his own computer, but at the place they work their might be 300 Desktop computers for each employee all those company computers might be treated as computers belonging to different individuals....... not to forget the popularity of stuff like smart Tvs and networked gaming devises... all those can be counted as "individual computing devices" that have acces to the internet so the possibility of duplication of internet users is there....but the data is still fair since they do the same for every country

3g & 4g is in the whole country and a child as young as 10 uses internet in Kenya

so in your own unenlightened mind Rural is equal to absence of internet??? Who bewitched these people though? My 69 years old mom chats with me on whatsapp and she lives deep in a village in Siaya. Your reasoning is a serious indictment to the Tanzanian Education system. This is the problem when Albino soup is alpha and omega.

Anyway, ONTARIO, 85% of Kenyas population's concentrated in the South. And the stats are quite believable, for even 10yr olds actually own internet enabled phones.
Internet is accessible even in the rural areas mostly via GPRS.
