Kagame is walking in Botha’s shoes!

My eyes, ears and all senses are forward towards world news broadcasts as we celebrate the birthday of the Africa’s legendary, anti-Apartheid Icon, freedom fighter and a man of great wisdom; Nelson Mandela who is terribly sick! God hear my prayer. As a human being he’ll surely die, but his paths will last forever and good people will always make their steps in it. Receive my salute Sir.

In digesting the strength of this great man, who spent his adulthood in the frontline of the fight against all sorts of domination (majority and minority) and oppression, many questions with and without answers blows deeply into my mind. Many of these questions asked the general picture of the situation in South Africa in those days and how Mandela managed to wage a long-term fight against the dominating white minority. Having visited google.com, I found much interesting and irritating stories well documented. Among of them is the speech of P. W. Botha, the world’s apartheid symbol, addressing ‘his fellow whites’ in 1985.

Ooh God! What the hell is this? Why? It is full plans of killing innocent Africans, making them poorer, limit access to education and health services, use of biological weapons and every kind of invention possible to get rid of Africans ‘cancer’ in South Africa! Then I said politely, Thank you God for giving us people like Nelson Mandela, for granting us peace! Immediately before having long laughter for this success, a bunch of memories came to me reminding the presence of black Botha in Africa’s great lakes: Paul Kagame. I will explain.

It came to me in my effort of discovering the secret behind immediate termination of foreign aid to Rwanda and if there is any connection with the followed action of the United Nations (UN) taking peace keeping troops to Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Here I found a comprehensive and a well evidenced UN report describing Paul Kagame’s missions in DRC and his actions against the Hutu majority in more like ways of Botha.

This report described all armed groups in DRC and in particular M23 which is the main rebel group. It proved beyond doubt that M23 is a Rwandan in all aspects and is controlled by Kagame’s Tutsi troops with intentions of expanding boundaries and plundering DRC’s natural resources. This was not new in my eyes because it is very well known. What shocked is the minority domination and oppression of Kagame’s Tutsi on Hutus majority and DRC’s non tutsi.

The report narrated that, Kagame take Hutu young boys coercively, train them poorly in military tactics, and put them on the front line of war to provide shield to the M23 Tutsi troops. At same time, other reports reveals that Kagame is taking Tutsi young boys and girls to schools, give them laptop computers, hire qualified teachers from Uganda and Kenya, and provide them with good food to enhance their studies. He certainly knows the fact that even the Mandela’s won the fight because they were lucky to see the four walls of the classroom, so he ensures no Hutu is coming up educated. This is exactly Botha’s apathetic ideals.

Hutus are strictly prohibited (secretly) to participate in politics; any one with ambition is killed softly or charged of involving in genocide and ultimately imprisoned. Higher posts in government offices are only for Tutsis and government scholarships to study abroad are given to Tutsis only. This is purely apartheid, black Botha. Now question comes: Does Kagame do better than Habyarimana, in terms of uniting Rwandese? Isn’t he a dictator like Idd Amin, who killed and exiled Ugandans of Asian origin?

I know angry Tutsis will call me Hutu, genocider, Hater of Tutsis, Terrorist, and the like! This won’t change the challenges facing Rwanda in the near future because the world now can no longer tolerate apartheid, massive killings and dictatorship the way Kagame is doing.

God bless you Tutsis who hate apartheid, let Kagame not continue to drag you in future problems!

Attached is the UN report and the Botha’s speech.
