Kenafrica Oil T Ltd is based in Tanzania and is a member of the Afrioil International Group which is headquartered in Kenya. We deal in wholesale and retail of petroleum products i.e. petrol, diesel and kerosene. Kenafrica Oil (T) Ltd is looking to fill the following position based in Tanzania
BUSINESS DEVELOPER
Summary of The Position
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for setting up operations, providing leadership and coordinating company activities in Tanzania. S/he will be required to give direction to the team in market penetration and expansion. Key roles will include but not be limited to:
· Start up operations in Tanzania
· Create and maintain a strong customer base
· Establish strong networks in the market and use them to source for and market fuel products
· Prepare and present reports as and when required and represent the company in industry meetings, creating good rapport with industry stakeholders.
· Be responsible for appropriate administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison with management in actualization of set targets
Applicant Requirements
Successful candidates will have:
· A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent from a reputable University.
· At least 2 years experience in supply, operations and marketing in the oil sector
· Experience in strategic planning and execution with strong creative, quantitative and analytical skills.
· Experience in planning and executing marketing strategies and a proven track record of successful public relations efforts
· Knowledge of structuring sales quotas and revenue expectations.
· Strong motivational and organizational skills and be a good team player
