Wengine mnafahamu kuwa ulaji wa vyakula vya wanga kiwango cha sukari katika mwili kinaongezeka. Kama mwili unazalisha insulin vizuri chembe hai zinauwezo wa kuchukua sukari hii na kuigeuza kua nguvu inahohitajika kwa shughuli za kila siku. Kama mwili hauna uwezo wa kuzalisha insulini vizuri sukari hii inabaki kwenye mzunguko wa damu na mwili unakosa nguvu, unajisikia kuchoka kila saa. Hii ni dalili ya kisukari (diabetes). Sukari inayozidi baada ya matumizi ya chembehai inahifadhiwa kama glycogen katika ini na misuli ya mwili, pia kwenye damu (lipids).

Kwa mtu mwenye afya njema na mwili unaweza kujiregulate wenyewe, ukichelewa kupata chakula uzalishaji wa insulin unasimama na mwili unatumia sukari iliyohifadhiwa kwenye ini, damu na misuli. Na baada ya kula chakula tu sukari ikizidi mwili unarelease insulin kurekebisha kiwango cha chakula.

Tunashauriwa kufanya mazoezi angalau kuweza kuunguza sukari iliyozidi na kuhifadhiwa kwenye ini, damu na misuli. Kuna wanaokwenda hospitali na kuambiwa una fatty liver au mafuta mengi kwenye ini, mafuta yanayohifadhiwa kwenye misuli ndiyo yanaleta beer belly, nyama uzembe, na vingine vingi.

Ninadhani matibabu yanatokana na aina ya stroke uliyopata, hii inahusisha CT scan na MRI scan. Risk factors pia ikiwa identified, na mazoezi ya viungo ukianza kuimprove.

Basi kumbe excessive intake ya wanga (wali, ugali, mihogo, chapati, ngano, n.k) ni hatari sana kwa afya zetu kwa sababu ndo chanzo cha (i) Diabetes, (ii) Stroke, (iii) Fat belly & minyama uzembe, n.k.

Provided that most of our easily-accessible meals on daily basis ni wanga, then we have to maximize on work-outs ili kuchoma hizo wanga na mafuta mwilini.

However, kumekuwa na mkanganyiko kuhusu 'mazoezi' ya viungo. Usahihi wa mazoezi ya viungo ni upi hasa..... Je, ni kufanya mpaka mwili utoke jasho? ama sio lazima mwili utoe jasho?
Na vipi kwa mtu anayefanya kazi ngumu kila siku ila hatoki jasho, huyu nae anahitaji mazoezi ya viungo?

Pia, given the fact that vyakula vya wanga ndo vinatupatia NGUVU mwilini. Je, in case of progressive reduction of wanga consumption, haiwezi sababisha mwili kukosa nguvu? or in other words: Je lower consumption ya Wanga, haina madhara mwilini?

Otherwise, kwa jinsi nilivyoelewa uzi wako mzuri, ni kwamba INSULIN ndiyo the 'key regulator' wa sukari mwilini. Sukari hiyo ndo hugeuzwa kuwa nguvu mwilini. As such, kuna umuhimu sana watu waelemishwe ni sababu zipi sasa zinazoharibu uzalishaji wa insulin mwilini? Nadhani pamoja na hizo survival options (mazoezi and reduction of wanga consumption), it is also now very important to know how we can maintain a sufficient insulin-release intact in our bodies.

Uzalishaji wa insulin ni sehemu ya mfumo wa endocrine, ni homorne zinazozalishwa kwenye wengu zinaratibiwa na ubongo. Ubongo mwili ukiwa haupo kwenye hali ya usawa (state of equilibrium) ubongo unafahamishwa na uanaachia taarifa inafika kwenye wengu kuachia insulin. Ulaji wa vyakula vya wanga pia unatokana na kazi unayofanya, kama ni mkulima na unapiga sahani ya dona na bakuli la nyama ya kuku kabla hujaenda shamba, unauhakika utaunguza sukari nyingi, lakini mfanya kazi wa ofisini asiefanya mazoezi na anakula vyakula vingi vya wanga, anakunywa bia 3/4 kila siku jioni, anahatarisha maisha yake.

Kwa wale wanywaji pia wanashauriwa kuwa katika siku saba za wiki, wawe na siku tatu wanazopumzisha mwili bila pombe.
