This practice does not conform to the norms and values of the society, particularly the African society.

This practice is now so common in public places like in churches and offices. Indecent dressing is caused by common phrases which are the problems of our generation like; "Only God can judge me, you can’t", "Leave them alone."
Many individuals nowadays dress in the manner in which they want because they feel that it is popular at the time. On the other hand, others stand to one side and refer to their appearance as 'franticness.' The way that many individuals dress these days gives the impression that they are in a state of despair. People who profess to being fashionistas on occasion may get away with wearing worn-out gowns in public without feeling self-conscious about it. If all other criteria are the same, they will judge this type of clothing to be appropriate.

Many others, mostly females, dress in half-sleeved clothes that expose considerable portions of their bodies. While without considering what they would be perceived as having by the broader population. In a similar vein, some people pierce parts of their body that aren't really significant. They do this because they feel it improves their physical appearance and makes them more desirable to other people.
A few people had their noses, ears, and even tongues drilled needlessly, which was upsetting. There is no need for lengthy explanations; simply refer to the photos below.
