Is Russian invasion of Ukraine justifiable?

We had an agreement for the NATO not to expand into the East but they went against the agreement.

USA has been using Ukraine to build several military bases just under the Russian Boarders.

Ukraine joining of NATO poses a security risk to Russia since USA intends to use it as a base in the name of bilateral understanding.

I don't think USA would be okay if Russia was to build several military bases on it's boarders with Mexico or Canada in the name of diplomacy!

If they went against the agreement then you could say what Russia is doing is justifiable but I don't think going to war is the way, apart from being expensive I don't think anyone can benefit from war
