Iran has been subjected to multiple sanctions since 1950s and post-1979 revolution. They've basically been in survival mode since 1980s but have showed tremendous resilience to overcome the economic setbacks and stabilise the nation.Up until now Iran can view itself as triumphant in its war with the US owing to the regime's survival but in real terms it's still too early to celebrate as the effects of the American blockade can still cause a massive economic debacle to the regime in Tehran that can surely make the country's history to be re-written.
