Position: Human Resource Specialist

Golden Coach Ltd, a leading transport company based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is seeking a highly skilled and
experienced HR Specialist to join our team. As an HR Specialist at Golden Coach Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our human resources strategies, managing employee relations, and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and Tanzanian labor laws.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new employee orientation.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Manage employee benefits and compensation packages, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and data, including employee files, attendance records, and performance evaluations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and initiatives.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Proficiency in Tanzanian labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Experience in training and development, with a focus on enhancing employee skills and performance.
