Son of Tanganyika
How do you feel
When I call you a coward
How do you feel
When I call you a traitor
How do you feel
When I call you a betrayer
You have betrayed the land
The sons of our grands fought for
You have betrayed the living words
The founder of our nation painted after the victory
You have betrayed the book
The contract that undelines our rights and obligations
You take it no your Business
To protect the land and the within
Left it to the hands of few
Who always speak what they don't mean.
And you pay them smiles
Because you are coward
And they know how to terrify you

How do you feel
When I call you mzalendo
The beautiful name in our language
The Patriot of our nation
How do you feel
When I call you the hero
After a war against the leeches
That suck the blood our land
How do you feel
When I call you the lover of Tanganyika
Cause you are always in the front line
To protect the weathy of our land
For the betterment of all citizens
How do you feel
When I call you the righs fighter
Cause we no longer fight for freedom

It feels bad even if you are
It feels good even if you are not
If you don't fight for your rights
And the rights of others
And the interests of our nation
You are the coward, the traitor
Yes, the coward, the traitor, the betrayer
If you enjoy the blood of our land
Because of the cowardice of the citizens
You are the leech, the traitor, the betrayer
