The Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE) has directed the Parliament CID to investigate the procurement of a fire truck purchased by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) at Shs5.3 billion.
The committee raised concerns over the cost of the fire truck, questioning whether the amount paid was justified and calling for an investigation into the procurement process and pricing.
