Am fed up with this touristic one-day view of African complex life. To me it's like the fabled blind man who touched the trunk of an elephant and when asked to describe what an elephant looks like, he elaborately spurted out: an elephant is rough, hard and snake-like.
Poor tourists/foreign writers with air tickets in their bags and a hasty pen to send a report of an african visit to beat a dead-line.
The photos are fine however because digital cameras have no deadlines to beat nor worries of catching a scheduled flight.
