How would you react if you were told that the hair band you are wearing is made of a used condom? Well, that’s actually the case in America with many China based brands. Not only is the news highly indignant, but also raises questions related to the health hazards it may be carrying.

The reprocessed condoms used in the manufacturing of these bands are in fact capable of inflicting AIDS, STDs or genital warts to the person wearing them.

Even worse is the truth that these hair ties are easily accessible throughout the country in local beauty salons, swap meets as well as in flea markets. CDC declares that hair ties and bands made of unsanitary condoms may have 4 times the bacteria detected on a public restroom toilet.

Holding these bands in mouth while setting hairs can be even more harmful and the person will likely get infected with AIDS, herpes, warts and other venereal diseases. They warn the consumers from purchasing these China based products.

Reportedly, a Los Angeles citizen, Shantea Green was appalled on discovering a recycled condom product which she had brought as a hair tie from a local beauty salon. Upon cutting around the edges, carefully with a knife, she was shocked to discover a used condom inside it.

She almost chocked at the revelation. She hopes that the word spreads and the people stop using these China made hair ties.

Before it’s too late, get your hair band checked or buy some from a renowned well trusted company, so to ensure you are not wearing a condom on you head, disguised as a hair band.

It is too false to be believed. It is scientifically proven that HIV Virus cannot survive in a dry condition. Hardly 30 minutes. How possible that the virus can stay alive for such a long time say from when it was used, picked, transferred to recycling industry, recycled, parked, transferred to whole sale shops, to retailer and lastly the final consume.r
