A MUM trapped in a horror blaze screamed Help me! as a suspected arson attack killed her and four of her children yesterday.
Shocked neighbours were woken by the desperate cries of Dr Sabah Usmani, 44, just before 1.45am.
The childrens father, also a doctor, leapt from an upstairs window in his dressing gown and frantically battled to save his family as flames engulfed the end of terrace.
Neighbour Theresa Simpson said: He kept saying, My family, get my family out. Then he started praying.
Sharon Pavey, 53, who lives next door and rang 999, said: I heard shouts for help. Flames were coming from the back and smoke was billowing out.
Fellow neighbour Amanda Chadwick, 34, said: The woman was screaming, Help! The man sounded like he was calling out to find someone. It was absolutely horrible.

An ambulance that happened to be passing with a patient pulled up at the scene as firemen raced to the house in Harlow, Essex.
But the 1,000°C inferno was too intense for rescuers to reach the mum as she died trapped with three of the children in Harlow, Essex. A fourth nine-year-old Muneeb lost his battle for life in hospital hours after sister Hira, 12, perished with brothers Sohaib, 11, and Rayyan, six.
The only child to survive was a little girl three-year-old Maheen. Last night she was in a specialist burns unit. Dad Dr Abdul Shakoor was described as utterly distraught.
He was treated for burns to his hands at Harlows Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he is a registrar in diabetes and an expert in hormone disorders.
Clinical director Dr Yvonne Barlow said: Hes the kindest, gentlest person I ever met.
A witness spotted up to four people outside the familys house before the blaze mayhem which saw a neighbours silver Ford Focus 200 yards away ALSO torched. Owner Hugh Wilson, 55, who lives with wife Deborah, 42, said: Weve no idea why.
Hubby ... Dr Shakoor and tragic wife
Police have not ruled out a racist motive for the horror but said one line of inquiry is that the Muslim victims described by friends and relatives as a model family were targeted by MISTAKE.
A former occupant of the house, which the family moved into from Winchester, Hants, barely a year ago, was said to be a cagefighter who had been chased by debt collectors.
The Pakistan-born dads cousin Abdul Ishaqani, who lives in Karachi, said: They are a very happy, loving family. They still have a home in Karachi but had settled in Harlow and their children were doing very well at school."
Tearful family friend Lesley Willis, 38, told how the boys adored playing cricket adding: They are a lovely, lovely family.
Flowers and toys were left near the burnt-out house as cops sealed off the street. A dog trained to sniff out accelerants was brought in.
Assistant Chief Constable Gary Beautridge, whose officers have been probing a spate of torched cars nearby, said: In the history of Essex Police seldom has there been an incident of this gravity.
Chief Fire Officer David Johnson said: It was carnage. There were bodies all over the place.
