"Manchester United have agreed a £3million deal to sign teenage Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez. Boss Sir Alex Ferguson has sorted out a swoop for the 18-year-old Universidad de Chile sensation which will be completed this summer. If United will have to secure a ‘special talent' visa for Henriquez, or else farm him out to a club in Europe on loan until he wins a senior cap."Much like the signings of Javier Hernandez and Bebe, Manchester United appear to have plucked a complete unknown player to most European football fans, but intriguingly reports from Chile are higely positive on Henriquez. The 18-year-old striker has played 753 minutes for Universidad Chile, scoring a hugely impressive eight goals. Including two in a 6-0 rout of Deportivo Quito in the Copa Libertadores, the South American equivalent of the Champions League.Henriquez has also been a star at Under-17 level where he scored three goals in four matches at the South American Championships in March.Whilst the transfer has come out the blue, Henriquez has trained with Manchester United on two separate occasions and in May said: "I would love to play in Manchester at Old Trafford – the Theatre of Dreams – alongside Wayne Rooney."
