wakuu heshima mbele,
Today while preparing to go earn my daily bread my eye was cought by a news clip on Al JAZEERA. Kwamba Europeans and Britons precisely, they want to seek compensation from Libya for victims of IRA fighters (rebel group in Ireland) who lost their loved ones because of the rebel`s activities. They argue that Libya is responsble because evidence available shows that Libya supplied weapons to IRA which were used to kill these Irish!
Folks, I was grossly left speechless. Do these whites have moral ground to ask compensation for arms supplied by Libya? If we Africans could demand compensation what would happen? Iam not condoning whatever Libya did, lakini naona ni double standard kubwa sana ya hawa wazungu..eti leo wanadai fidia kwa watu wao waliokufa??? Are they real?
Millions of Africans have died and they continue dying at hands of dictators supplied and financed by whites. Our leaders have connived with these people to rob us whatever we have...and they still have audacity to claim compansation? Ama kweli damu ya mwafrika haina thamani. I honestly think that..these British or Irish (whatever their name)..wanafanya hivi kwa kuidharau Africa not Libya only. Kuanzia kwenye slave trade, na wizi na mauaji waliyoyafanya na wanaendelea kuyafanya..leo wanatwambia kwamba watu wao walikufa kwa ajili ya silaha zilizotoka Libya and they need compensation?
I will be interested to follow this case/argument to its logic conclusion.. maana na Gordon Brown kaingilia kati kusupport "victims". I really feel bad as an African. This is an insult to show that our blood has nothing, no value....if we may ask compensation..well..ofcourse the western justice system can never entertain such compensation claim from Africa..(others tried and failed).
I would argue any African interested in the dignity of African person..to follow up this case..hawa jamaa..kwa kweli they have gone over and above. our people here in Africa continue dying every day on the same weapons supplied and financed by them..and here they come..asking compensation. Very sad indeed. They dont have moral or any ground to demand compensation. They have inflicted untold suffering to our being. We should say enough is enough.
