Kenya's DCI to Receive Sumuri Talino Forensic Workstation

Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Digital Forensics Unit will receive the Sumuri Talino Forensic Workstation.

This is after it emerged second in a competition by Sumuri, an American software company for a high end forensic software.

Henry County Police won the prize, the software company following stiff online voting campaign by five security agencies nominated for the prize.

Others include Elkton Police Department, Washington Police Department and the Philadelphia Police Department.

While Henry County Police won the prize, the software company confessed to being overwhelmed by the support the DCI received, hence has decided to gift them too.

Sumuri acknowledged being blown away by the spirited fight the DCI to garner votes and resolved to reward it too.

“This year we were blown away by the number of votes we received – almost 700,000. I thank everyone who voted & am truly humbled to announce the winner of a very hard fought battle,” said Jason Roslewicz, Sumuri’s Chief Executive Officer.

“Your country’s effort in coming together for this campaign made it an even more humbling experience. Congratulations to our SUMURI Gives Back Runner Up – DIGITAL FORENSICS UNIT, KENYA! You too will receive a to help your team save more lives.”
