I have been watching with keen interest the Dar es Salaam Rapid Transport Project ever since it was first launched. However, it now seems that the project is taking a very long time to be completed.
The immediate effects are all very evident: the entire road starting from Jangwani up to Ubungo is simply chaotic. There are port holes everywhere and coupled with the daily Dar es Salaam queues getting to your final destination is another task altogether.
The time for action is now. Yes we need this project. We call upon the stakeholders to resolve urgently these problems which have been highlighted above. Let us love our city Dar es Salaam for if we don't then no-one else will.
