Good morning!
We all use computers in our everyday lives. These computers and their applications were created by people from around the world. Every day we hear about new innovation and sort. In our country, do we have any policy or institution dedicated to computer research?
I am not talking about using the application/solutions but finding those solutions. For example, if you check the legal page on iPhones you will see a lot of companies and institutions giving Apple licence to use their proprietary solutions to be included. To put it in simple language, a startup/college in Pakistan can be dedicated on Search feature, another one in Hungary can be dedicated on compression algorithms. Is there anything of that sort in Tanzania?
The second thing is what are we going to do about it? I mean the world is changing fast and if we don't catch up chances are we will always lag behind. Any constructing thought? what can be done to improve computer-related research in Tanzania?
