Participatory in community development. ni moja ya njia (approach) zinazotumika kwa ajili ya kuwafanya wadau (wanajamii) kushiriki ipasavyo katika miradi ya maendeleo.
Na njia kuu za ushirikishwaji wa jamii katika maendeleo zipo mbili.
1; Top-down approach.
2: Bottom-up approach.

Role za kushirikishwa wanajamii katika miradi ya maendeleo.
1; Kuleta dhana ya umiliki kwenye miradi ya maendeleo. badala ya wanajamii kutamka mradi wa maji wa TASAF tunapenda waseme mradi wa maji wa kijiji chetu.
2; Inasaidia wananchi kusema matatizo yanayowakumba na kuyapatia kipaumbele katika kuyatatua, kwa kutumia mlinganisho kijozi.
3; Sustainability of the community development project even after closure and external funding ceases.
4; It is used as monitoring tool to the community development project, Because it will give out preliminary response of the community toward the project. Hence give out proper way to solve if there are negative response to the project.
