You can read the book in two days. Our main problem is that we do not read. Whites have decided to hide all secrets in the books certain that blacks won't find them. That's why I have great admiration for Zitto because he reads. Anyone who eads becomes instantly different.
Our leaders, even the professors, do not read.

There has been thriving Black economies before, Haiti, the first Black republic, with a thriving agricultural sector had France tax it almost into oblivion for their independence(from France) and freedoms. This amounted to over $30 billion. Up next was USA that invaded Haiti and looted its banks. The western onslaught of Haiti continued until it was no more. In short, Haiti that right now has discovered vast natural resources , was not going to be an example of a thriving Black economy. Right now the west is acting like they are doing Haiti a favour by setting up sweat shops there.

There used to something called The Black Wall street in the USA, a huge economy By Blacks in the USA, money would circulate there over six times before leaving. It was burned down by the whites.

These Westerners don't mess around with Blacks that are trying to be self reliant. Most recent example is Libya.

How can we think of economic independence if we are still under direct or indirect control of the west. France controls 14 African countries through the FrancAfrique Colonial pact, CFA, the rest are controlled indirectly by the west through funny elections and democracy.

I agree with much of what the writer had to say though. He couldn't mention manufacturing/producing enough times.

Right now, from history, we know what to do, but I disagree where he says we need leaders for this especially when he mentions Al Sharpton. Spider-web-economic doctrine does not have leaders, it is a system. Luckily for us we know the system to suit us, too bad the fear of each other gets in the way.

The writer dwelled much on other success stories like that of the Jews and didn't mention anywhere where Africans had made success stories. Its not that Blacks are inferior as portrayed, its that we don't protect what we have worked for and act like the world wants us to be on this planet. The things we need to do to thrive are known but the fear of each other gets in the way.

In SA, just like in Kenya back in the day building huge infrastructure when labour and resources are free if not cheap is a piece of cake. Building the Kenya railway back then was easy, but building things in a Free country costs a dime like look at how the taxpayer will have to dig deep in their pockets for the whole of SGR.

Belgians ruined DRC for centuries and looking at history they were never going to be nice any time. They were only interested in looting their resources to build Belgium.

Our problem like he says is consumerism for things we don't manufacture, we do it like no one else.

Not for lack of brains. In order to accomplish something you have to work together. This is where Africans, blacks, have been cursed.

Mmmh! I really hope there are inventions by Africans out there. Word is that first heart transplant was done by an African and someone else took the credit. Same for mobile money transfer services.

Inventions tend to be in highly competitive countries, with big funding for research and technology, infrastructure and supporting legal frameworks like protection of intellectual property.

How much we fund education, come up with efficient, competitive and bigger economies will determine Whether we will continue to pay intellectual property royalties to other people in the future or have the next inventions here in Africa whether it is in energy, defence or medicine etc. Setting up preferential trade arrangements to increase intratrade to provide markets for what we produce gives a competitive edge to our products here over those from our shores. World trade is big politics and we need to be in the thick of the game with one big and smart voice so as to have a full proof system a future generation can thrive in.

We only imbibe whatever ideas and concepts developed by the other races.
Be it the mathematical and scientific concepts,religion,technology,economic and political policies,(remember the wasteful debates in the 60s upto the 80s over whether the policies adopted by a particular african country were pro-west or pro-east? They were never pro-african!).

We are not known to have built ships and sailed the world,used wheels in transportation,built storied buildings or ever built sophisticated and ordered civilizations before the coming of the asians and europeans.

Today,unlike the far asians, we are not engaged in innovating the technologies and the managerial concepts already invented by the whites.
Instead we are only waiting to consume the ideas and concepts and technologies from the other cultures

True, the belgium did badly plunder the DRC and committed some very heinous attrocities there.

But do u know that they'd left 33000km of the roads tarmacked, but by the time prez. Mobutu was deposed, only 12000 remained, the rest reclaimed by nature!
It's not like the Belgiums had exhausted all the mineral resources. The DRC still remains the world's most mineral rich country.
The problem is it wasnt lucky enough to have intelligent and visionary leaders. Only leaders who cared about parochial interests like enriching themselves with the country's wealth at the expense of their subjects.
