A ten-year-old boy has been suspended from school after making a gun shape with his hand during a Science class.
A boy has been suspended from school for pointing his fingers like a gun.
Nathan Entingh - a 10-year-old student at Devonshire Alternative Elementary School in Ohio, in the midwestern United States - was playing with a friend during a science lesson when he was spotted making the shape of a weapon with his hand and was quickly suspended.
Nathan's father, Paul Etingh, is furious with the school, which has issued his son with a three day suspension, claiming he was just playing around.
Speaking to CNN, he said: ''He was pointing it at a friend's head and he said 'boom.' It wasn't threatening. It was a 10-year-old kid playing.''
A spokesman for Columbus City Schools said students had previously been warned against making fake weapons following a number of fake shooting incidents.
