A new mobile phone app has been developed that helps you avoid people. Split uses location technology to track those you deem undesirable and gives you an alert when they are nearby. The smart phone app even tells you who the person you want to avoid is with and a suggested escape route. The app which is likely to be welcomed by love-rats - and stalkers alike - uses social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. One of the founders Udi said: The idea was born on a frustrating night when I ran into my ex-girlfriend in a bar. After a few awkward minutes, I hurriedly gathered my friends out of there and into another pub down the street, where I bumped into another ex.
