Despite the efforts of Russell Martin, who cleared three shots off the line in the first half, Robin van Persie levelled for Arsenal on 26 minutes.

After an open and exciting first half the two teams headed in to the break level at 1-1.

Van Persie picked up his 13th goal of the season on 59 minutes as he dinked the ball over a helpless John Ruddy to put the Gunners 2-1 up.

A brace from the Flying Dutchman was enough to extend Arsenal's Premier League winning streak to five, as they ran out 2-1 winners at Carrow Road.
