Eyes UP..IDX – New channel from Discovery Networks | Post Production Facilities | Sound Studios, Edit Suites

Discovery's latest addition to its family of channels, ID Xtra is set to launch on April 1. It will be available in SD and HD versions across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
There is increased demand and opportunity in the market for factual mystery and suspense content which we have the experience and ability to fill and for this reason we have ambitious plans to roll ID Xtra out to as many as 105 markets across CEEMEA in 2014," said Paul Welling, SVP, Head of Channels, Discovery Networks CEEMEA.
" Many of our largest operators have already signed up and with drama at the forefront of this channel's offering, viewers will be kept on the edge of their seat and watching for longer than other channels, as ID Xtra invites them to take a closer look and get under the skin of unsolved mysteries."
Welling will talk about the launch of ID Xtra, the increased popularity in the mystery and suspense genre during his Keynote at this' year MIPDoc in Cannes, on Sunday, April 6 at 11.30am.

I sure Hope the SD channels will be FTA 🙂

Really cygnusascension? I needed one for setting azimuth while hunting. Did you mean that too?

Thanks anyway.

yeah pretty much. It will give you a rough guide though. Eventually you will have to use satfinder to hit home. I have never used a compass myself. I see no point doing so.
Download sat pointer app on your smart phone. It will even give you line of site assessment. You can download compass too. But bottom line - satfinder

I did as highlighted above, the website went ahead and asked for registration of my details as below:

Is it in order to go ahead and register? The 'No Access (05)' error did not clear by the way.

Good Morning Ranksat,

I had the same issue (No Access 05) on my Technosat MBC HD receiver, but was able to clear it using the two links provided.

You will have to first register your receiver but remember to input a middle east phone number.

If your receiver still displays the same error, send an email to ichd@ichd.com and also techsupport@ichd.com request them to re-freshen your MBC HD signal.
Remember to give them your MBC HD smart-card number.
Leave your receiver on one of the MBC HD channels once you place the request for the signal refresh.

Hope this works.

Keep us posted.......
