By the way there is a significant signal quality drop on the SA's free to view channels. Anyone realized the same?

Looking on for the analog switchoff on 26th Dec 2013...the downside as I per see is that a big blow to us FTA guys....the only local channels that will be available are to be on Intelsat 22 hosting the signet downlink....a 2.4M dish will be needed for the reception unless they will still use the existing transponders for sometime.

On nilesat, they are not fta. You need a jsc card.

By the way there is a message running on KISS TV which says and I quote:

End of quote. Is this good news or what. At least the FTA spirit will be sambazad to our brothers and sisters without a clue of the ASAS.:clock::israel:

Here in dar es salaam the new jsc TP is not receivable on nilesat with 130cm ku dish. the screen is showing blue. any advice please.

keys appearing in my strong srt 4930 receiver after updated with a
software version 1.53p dated 31 Oct 2013. keys like .
IP SETTINGS(which has DHCP usage option,
IP Address
000.000.000.000,
Subnet Mask 000.000.000.000,
Gateway 000.000.000.000,
DNS
000.000.000.000,
MAC Address 00:22:d3:50:2b:b5.)
KEY SETTINGS..has KEY F1 to F4 and KEY 0 to 9(with lots of options like
8280,8281,8282). Now my problem is how do all these usable. Does it
mean now i have options for patching keys and if Yes how do I do it. I
understand nothing so need some mindset ideas to go about. SALUTE!!

IP in this case means Internet Protocol. In short, this is where to input internet settings in order to connect your box to the internet.

Aljazeera is trying to confine its coverage within MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region due to complaints from d**v.For those with jsc cards, you must have seen advert below your screens while watching football games written " viewing only authorised within middle east and north africa"

A new PayTV provider by the name Satelio (www.satelio.tv) is coming up on Intelsat 20 (12522V30000). Has 22 channels so far including Satelio Infokanal, Prosieben, Kabeleins, Vox, RTL, Jukebox, Euronews, N24, C-Music, Africa Movie Channel, IMovie2. Seems like a German / Austrian service provider. IMovie2 is currently FTA, broadcasting in English. The others are scrambled.

Attached is a Two Inverto Ultra Black LNB setup I tried today for NSS12 and Yahsat-1A.
Works great on 90Cm Eurostar offset dish. All TPs are very stable even in cloudy weather.

Yahsat-1A West beam TPs: 67-68% Quality [Dubai One HD, Russia Today, Nat Geo, Fox, Fox Movies, Abu Dhabi Sports].
NSS12 TPs: 67-69% Quality [NTV, QTv, KTN, Kass, K24, Family 1, Family 2].
