African Satellite World and Sat Gear

SUPERSPORT extends EPL rights till 2022. we are stuck with the same expensive provider.

2 new channels,Nay Music Tv & Go Tv(i may be wrong, but i think this channel is the same Go Africa ch.,which was giving us some hard time to get its signal, when it was on Eutelsat 7A @ 7° e.[11105/v/3800 ??] ,back in the late 2000s!),have also landed on Y**s*t 1A @ 52point5° east Peacefully.
So far,it's not disclosed either if "they're on a surprise visit" or "they came to take a refuge here".but, right after their arrival, they both drove straight to our friend's(Tv V**r**$h hd's) family mansion, which,as you all know,is located at 11seven85/h/27five00th strt.
if you're a fan of music and,may be,some other entertaining progms, you need to go and welcome the new comers at Y*h*at 1A's east beam resort! no gatekeepers recently!

btw,if you can pull down a stable signal from 12nil15/h/27five00 Tp of this same Sat( which's also a bit difficult,but trackable,for us here in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia,around 9° N. & 2° E. of Nairobi,Kenya ),there're more than 5 channels(which were on **766/v previousely)for your need of watching the U*CL,E~r*p L*g,L~ L*ga & S*~r A matches(may be 1,2 or,sometimes,even 3/week from E*P*L).

*As you know, almost all the channels on that bird are either Persian/Kurdish/Tajik/ or Pashtu (somewhere 'round there anyway) language channels, the live commentary aswell!

Morning Africa!

Is this a new box in the market? How does it compare to the Old Faithfuls that we have been using?.....especially as far as software upgrades and autoroll are concerned? Lastly, where can it be found and how much damage will it inflict?

Just do a factory reset and rescan your channels, hopefully it will work, mine 9800 is almost opening all powervu channels receivable in my location with no software required

Good morning forum members. Im just following up on a question raised some time ago. Has anyone succeeded in tracking the MBC's on the new frequency that is scrolling at the bottom of the screen?

Eutelsat 8B at 8W..
Am now enjoying MBC channels at 8w on tp 11471 V 27500 from Copperbelt, Zambia using 1.8m offset fibre dish and a strong lnb..all East Beam tps are showing.
A.S.A.S version 2 attack .....
If in Zambia he can nab with 1.8m offset, then in East Africa you can easily nab it...this is because E.Africa is near the footprint and some are in the footprint

In order to nab 3740H 30000 (IS 20) on a 6ft pf, I changed its normal Horizontal polarity (H) to Vertical polarity ( V ) on the receiver, then i rotated my lnb at an angle of 90 degrees from previous position and the frequency turned green. But at around 3-4 p.m. the frequency always turn red and then comes back on at around 10 p.m.

I'll try and feedback I;ve never received the signal
you wouldnt lose others ?

Just to clarify from those in the know, how far apart is Eutelsat 8B from Nilesat 101? I am assuming its only a few millimeter seeing as one is at 8degrees west and the other at 7 degrees west.

Those using Eurostar ES-21 plus they have no option. Coz it receive all polarity i.e both V&H.

Satstar is one of the most versatile machines these days l think, some members here like dejumbo and a few others have used the high end Satstar machines. They can tell you. Just do a search on the forum.

Here is the post where they were talking about one:
