Ideally a factory reset is supposed to do exactly what the decoder did. The cracking could also have been cause by a change in your setup (like dish moving, hence azimuth elevation compromised, or lnb skew also moved etc) rather than the software. I suggest in future, before you hit the reset button, check the signal levels. You can look for an appropriate sw patch that will support the rolling. Thanks, but I didn't See Ebru, besides, I was on C- band while 70°E is ku.

Thirdly, to reach where I was, I had measured two Lengths of the distance between 68.5°E & 76.5°E, starting from Apstar downwards on the dish. I was veeery very far from 70° E.

There is a mix-up in Diseqc settings......... select appropriate dish and appropriate LNB freq in you settings...........
 
What is the difference btn this freq range for C band LNBs.I have one Stargold LNB with freq range 3.7 to 4.2 GHZ but my srt4922 is not recognising it.The normal lnbs have this range 3.4 to 4.2 GHZ.Please advise.
