Yes, am getting almost all channels in this sat, this box was opening APL channels, up to june this year but after the release of new software it stopped opening such channels, i have tried to upgrade to new software but nothing has changed, some has advised me to do net upgrade, but nothing pop up instead of this message none on the net upgrade list,These channels share the same frequency with CN@ and HB[emoji767], 3974, but different polarity. Are you getting CN@?
#GIDEN, I don't have a clear LOS Eastern/ Western Beam due to 5-Storey buildings and i've been unable to lock on Intelsat 10-02 @0.8°w C-Band Global Beam broadcasting A@FN Package. What is the best way of tracking down this bird?
I think the best would be lock on Nilesat or ABS3 then change LNB to Cband and also change corresponding settings on decoder/meter use AFN Tp 4175V28000 to track and remember to insert Teflon since its a circular polarity satellite. Lift slowly till you hit green.
Hi Mr Ras Kush, my alphabox x4 hd does not open animal planet channels@ 68.5 even after the new software upgrade, plz help me if this fault is within your control.
Is it opening other channels on that tp, i.e. DSC, TLC, ID...?
Using an 8ft, I have 69% on Sony pix HD at 66°e with freesat decoder, use 2.4m and above to enjoy them
Thanks for your support, it does not open any channel on such TP, but on other pv channels it just open well#Kateka, sometimes the manufactures correspond directly with agents so i'll contact a distributor on the west coast just in case there's another software release or other solution; personally, i use GSky v6HD. It is also important to reply Gich's query as to whether its the whole tp or one particular channel.
#GIDEN, after almost 2 months i was finally able to lock on Intelsat 10-02 @0.8°w C-Band Global Beam but what surprised me most was where i was going wrong. The floor on which the 6ft p.f stands on slopes from right to left and to compensate an Accurate Plumb line i normally place a 14mm square bar beneath the right side of the mounting bottom rim.
Unfortunately, i realized too late that the 14mm square bar was over-shooting ABS-3a beam and i had to replace it with a 10mm square bar. Noticed very active Etv feeds on ABS-3a.
Supermax vh777 Super was able to additionally lock on both NBC & BBC feeds simultaneously unlike Eurostar ESCDT-700 twin that was unable to tri-lock on NBC. After locking & maximizing signal on IS 10-02 @0.8°w, lowering the dish further i locked on Astra 4a @4.8°w C-Band Global Beam.

HOW TO FIND LENGTH OF LNB ARM OF A PRIME FOCUS
D = Diametre
F = Focal length (length from centre of dish to the LNB)
d = Depth (of the dish)
D x D = F
16 x d
R = Radius of dish
r = Radius of LNB holder
L = Length of LNB arm
R – r = R1
F – d = H
(R1 x R1) + (H x H) = L squared
L = square root of L squaed
For example, a 6ft(72inches) prime focus dish has a depth of 1ft(12 inches)
The radius of dish = 36 inches , and of lnb holder = 3.25 inches. Calculate :
A. Focal length
B. Length of lnb arm
D = 72
F = ?
d = 12
D x D = F
16 x d
72 x 72 = 27
16 x 12
F = 27
R = 36
r = 3.25
L = ?
R1 = R – r
= 36 – 3.25
= 32.75
H = F – d
= 27 -12
= 15
( R1 x R1) + ( H x H) = L squared
= (32.75 x 32.75) + (15 x 15)
= 1073 + 225
= 1298
L = square root of 1298
L = 36.03 inches

Excellent Vicwa, is that the dish holding Is20 and Apstar ?I don't know , but you can modify yourself or find someone to weld it for you.
See my modification that you can adjust and use on a 1.8,2.4 or 3-4m dish. I used galvanized water pipe imported from china because they are light. You can get them at hardware.

This is great modification. I particularly like the length adjustor on those arms as well as that lnb holder. You should consider fabricating these commercially. 🙂I don't know , but you can modify yourself or find someone to weld it for you.

That was most likely a problem of skew. I'm using the same EUROSTAR ESCDT-700 Twin and getting ALL the NBC, BBC & AFN Channels & Feeds.
