Ranksat Jambo. Ndio niko kwa hii nyumba nisaidiwe. I thought Lnb skew matters with the geographical location. I usually twist the thing until i hit green then maximise the signal by twerking. Sasa ndugu saidia skew iangalie wapi na hapo ndio napata 3780,4151 ila tu 3880,3720. Barikiwa.
By the way even if you set the skew at 90deg you will rarely miss a sat, then correct it after locking.Kila siku nikiwaambia watu waangalie ile LNB skew sahihi kwa dishpointer.com wanadhani naota. That skew is very wrong my friend.
for Ku Lnb corresond the zero mark on Lnb with zero mark on lnb holder. unless different for some Lnb`s.By the way even if you set the skew at 90deg you will rarely miss a sat, then correct it after locking.

Bwana Ranksat, Ushawahi blind search sat. using a Tp then it hits green with quality 78, in my case 3769 no 76e. Then my 4950 tells me found Ap*76e. Then i factory reset na blind scan the sat then i see the Tps but hakuna 3880,3720,3871,4060 where do i go wrong?.Sijambo kaka. Open www.dishpointer.com, key in your location and search, select your satellite of interest, then see the displayed parameters at the bottom (azimuth, skey, elevation, etc) for your selected location and sat of interest.
