Sudan Vice President Dr. Al-Haj Adam comment for Africa to look for the potential partners rather than depending to the western countries. The remarks made when Dr. Adam met international journalists who were attending the National Congress Party (NCP) meeting held recently in Khartoum, Sudan. He said Africa is a giant continent in terms of resource and that it has a freedom to decide who will associate with to bring changes and enhance development to its people. Dr. Adam pointed out that, western era is over and now is the time for Africa to invite potential investors from either Arabic countries or Asian, especially the highly rise up economic countries of China and India in developing natural resources like gas, oil and other minerals. The NCP meeting which was attended by Sudan partners including China, India, Pakistan and Arab countries, focused most on peace and development and their role in the stability of the world. On understanding the national unity, NCP government has decided to bring on board all opposition parties in Sudan to form a new interim government. The new interim government is mandated to write up the new constitution in Sudan that will enhance democratic election in 2014, whereby President Omar Al Bashir will step down. That will be the first democratic election since the division of Southern Sudan from the former Sudan in July 9, this year.
