Good news...managed to nab the eutelsat 7A...had to use some geeky methods:D...used an iPad app called "satellite pointer-align your dish"...really helped me out....showed me "azimuth", "elevation" and "lnb skew"...got it almost immediately. I promise minimal shouting was involved ;)....any...

Guys this satellite has been really elusive....yesterday managed to get Astra 4A at S-93%, Q-95%....yet nothing from 7B :(

Managed to nab Astra 4A ...11747v27500 @ S-89% Q-90%...while facing west which direction should I move the dish....have tried upwards, downwards, sideways even shouted at the dish....no change in 11356H45000...

I got the info. from the strong decoder srt 4950h....honestly the channels are very similar to that of the Astra 4A..using that satellite finder is difficult to know the frequency...I just point west

Hi guys...with the help of Stargold digital LCD finder.....manage to get Astra 4A(5E) and today morning Eutelsat 9A(9E)....still not able to get Eutelsat 7A(7E)....any pointers....

Hi guys, am in mtwapa, Kilifi county, kenya....it seems I have forgotten how to hunt these birds....been trying to track Eutelsat 7B so as I can get Az*m decoder but in vain....pointing 6ft dish towards west...using my satellite Meter...am getting nothing...I can't even nab ds*v....please help...

I concur.....I had updated to the latest one but the video and audio was glitchy esp for Amos 5 & terrestrial (dvb t2 ) channels. Had to downgrade( contrary to the warning from freesat.cn about downgrading openbox v8 combo) the firmware.....fortunately it worked for me. Everything is okay now

Hi,am able to reply que(2) as am unable to receive d*g*t**k goodies here mombasa. There's no sound distortion in the said package on Amos 5...and signal is very stable

the charge isn't from DHL..but from the customs department, and its irrespective of the value of the gadget.....The freight company(in this case, DHL) has to avail the item to customs department for valuation and import duty charging. It's at this stage where the ridiculous amount appears ....:-(
